RESOLUTION N0. 5889.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INITIATION
OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS TO CLEAR TITLE
TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY..
6500 STANDISH
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has initiated a program of sale and
development of a number of residential lots located in the area of
Richfield north of 66th Street and east of Longfellow Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the property located at 6500 Standish on land legally
described as Lot 23, Block 6, New Ford Town Addition, is one of said.
lots, and
WHEREAS, the City has been informed that an adverse claim to the
City's title to that lot is being ascertained, and
T~'HEREAS, such adverse claim, if successful, could preclude the sale
of that lot be the city;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Richfield,
Minnesota, that the City Attorney and other appropriate City officials.
are authorized to commence proceedings whether by negotiation or by litigation
to clear the title and establish the City's ownership of the subject parcel.
