RESOLUTION NO. 5869
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CONSTRUCTION OF MTC
SOUTH BUS GARAGE ON METROPOLITAN AIRPORTS COMMISSION PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transit Commission has submitted a garage
grant application to the Urban Mass Transportation Administration for
construction of a bus garage, and
WHEREAS, the garage is proposed to be located at 24th Avenue and
I-494 in the Southwest corner of the Minneapolis - St. Paul International
Airport, and
WHEREAS , 'the bus garage project and location have been approved by the
Metropolitan Airports Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has previously supported construction of
a bus garage at this location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield that the City Council herewith goes on record in support of the
construction of the South MTC bus garage facility at 24th Avenue and I-494 in
the Southwest corner of the Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport.
