RESOLUTION N0. 5785
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION
FROM THE 1977 CONTINGENCY TO PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 55.90 appropriated funds for each department
of the City for the year 1977, and
.WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the General Fund
for various purposes, including the 1977 salary adjustments and the related
fringe benefit contributions, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5784 approved the 1977 Contract for the
International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1215, .establishing the
Fire Fighters', 1977 pay plan, and it is necessary to adjust the 1977
budget appropriation $41,314 for the 1977 calendar year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield as follows:
1. That the sum of $28,081 be transferred from the
1977 contingency appropriation of the General
Fund to the Public Safety Department.
2. .That the City Manager and the Finance Director
bring into effect the provisions of this resolution.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
this 12th day of September, 1977.
