.RESOLUTION N0. 5771
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISION OF 1977 BUDGET OF VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5590 appropriated funds for personal services,
other expenses and capital outlays for each department of the
City for the year 1977; and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos. 5670, 567 , 567 , 5682, 5724, 5725 and 5727
made appropriations from the 1977. Contingency Account to various
departments; and
WHEREAS, The. City Charter, Chapter 7, Section 7.09,. gives the Council
authority to transfer unencumberedappropriation balances from
one office, department, or agency to another within the same'
fund at the request of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, The City Manager has requested a revision of the 1977 budget
' - appropriations in accordance with Charter provisions and as
.detailed in the proposed 1978 budget document; and
WHEREAS, Federal General Revenue Sharing regulations require that the use
of Federal General Revenue Sharing funds be appropriated in the
same manner that .the City would ordinarily appropriate its own
general revenues..
P NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City .Council of the. City of Richfield,
Minnesota as follows:
Section 1. That the 1977 appropriations for each department of the General.
Fund and the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund be revised as follows:

official copy of the proposed 1978 budget document, are hereby

Section 3. That the City Manager and~'~ the Finance Director bring into effect
the provisions of this resolution.
