RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1978
AND LEVYING TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield as follows:
Section. 1. The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1978 is~hereby
approved and adopted with appropriations for each of the departments to be as
follows:

Section 2. The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield from all sources,
including general ad valorem tax levies as hereinafter set forth for the year
1978, including prior years'levies budgeted for 1978, as the same are mare fully
deCailed in the City Manager's official copy of the 1978 budget, are hereby
found and determined to be as follows:

Section 3. There is hereby levield upon all taxable. property in the City of.Richfiel
a direct ad valorem tax in the yei~ar 1977, payable in 1978, for the following purpose,
and in the. following amounts:

GENERAL FUND%~ $2,779.150. .
*Provision has been made in the .General Fund for the. payment of the
City's contributory share to Public. Employees Retirement Association
and the Police and Firemen's Relief Associations. Provision has also
been made in the General Fund revenues for receipt of the local gov-
ernment aid distribution. The above general Ie includes a debt
service levy in the amount of $278,000 for Bonds of 1975. See separate
resolutions on other. bond issues.
Section 4. The budget for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Richfield
for the year 1978 is hereby ratified and approved.. There is hereby-levied upon
a1I taxable property in the City of Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the
year 1977, payable in 1978, for th',e following purposes;

Section 5. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Richfield, a direct ad valorem tax, in the year 1977, payable in 1978, the
County's omission in spreading taxes for the following purposes in the year
1976, payable 1977:

Section 6. A certified copy of this resolution shall be .transmitted to the
County Auditor.
