RESOLUTION N0. 6011.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISIONS OF 1978
.BUDGET OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND TRANSFER
OF CONTINGENCY FUNDS
WHEREAS,. Resolutions Numbers 5770 and 5967 appropriated funds for personal
services, other expenses and capital outlays for each department of the City
for the year 1978, and
WHEREAS, the City Charter; Chapter 7, Section 7.09 gives the council
authority to transfer unencumbered appropriation balances from one office,
department or agency to another within the same fund at the request of the
City Manager, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested a revision of the. 1978 budget
appropriations in accordance with Charter revisions...
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, as. follows.:
1. That the 1978 appropriations for each department of the General Fund
be revised as follows:
GENERAL.FUND AMOUNT
Mayor-Council $1,025 Increase
.Executive 1,025 .Decrease
Health 708 Increase
Legal 1,427 Decrease
Public. Works 1,500 Decrease
Contingency 2,219 Increase
Total General Fund -0-
2. That there is hereby authorized a transfer in the amount of $42,000.
from the 1978 contingency to a reserve for remaining 1978 compensation settle-
ments.
3. That the City Manager and the Finance Director bring into effect
the provisions of this resolution.
