RESOLUTION N0. 5991
' RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION
FROM THE 1978 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE
-~-- PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution Numbers 5770 and 5967 appropriated funds for each
department of the City for the year 1978; and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the General Fund for
various purposes, including unforeseen program costs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has provided a community outreach
transportation program funded through CETA Title VI special project funds
which is scheduled to be terminated in mid-November and it has been de-
termined desirable to continue this program. through the end of the year;
and
WHEREAS, it is determined necessary to adjust the 197$ budget
$2,000 to cover .costs associated with continuing this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city. council of the .City of
Richfield, Minnesota, that the .sum of $2,000 be transferred from the
1978 contingency of the general fund to the Park and Recreation Department.
