RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1979
AND LEVYING TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
Section 1: The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1979
is hereby approved and adopted with appropriations for each of the
:departments to be as follows:

.'Section 2. The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield
'from all sources, including general ad valorem tax levies as here-
' inafter set forth for. the year 1979, including prior years' levies
budgeted for 1979, as the same are more fully detailed in the City
Manager's official copy of the 1979 budget, are hereby found and
determined to be as follows:

REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 210,150
Section 3. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in
the City of Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1978,
payable in 1979, for the following purposes and in the following
amounts:.

PURPOSE AMOUNT
GENERAL FUND * $ 2 , 9 04 , 63 7
*Provision has been made in the General Fund for the
payment of the City's contributory share to Public
Employees Retirement Association and the Police and
and Firemen's Relief Associations. Provision has
also been made in the General Fund revenues for re-
ceipt of the local government aid distribution. The
above general levy includes a debt service levy in the
amount of $335,200 for Bonds of 1972 and 1978. See
separate resolutions on other bond issues.
Section 4. The budget for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of Richf field for the year 1979 is hereby ratified and approved.
There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1978, payable in 1979,
for the following purposes:

Housing and Redevelopment Authority 1/3 Mill
Relocation Information, Services and
Assistance 1/30 Mill
section 5. A certified copy of this resolution shall be transmitted
to the County Auditor.
