RESOLUTION NO. .5896
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
PROPERTY AT 6244 16th AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Richfield.:
1. It is hhereby determined to be necessary and desirable for the city to
acquire for park purposes, the property located at 6244 16th Avenue,
legally described as follows: Lot 13, Block 9, Girard's Parkview Addition,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
2. The owners of such property have offered. and agreed to sell such property
to the city for the sum of $38,000. Such proposed. purchase price is hereby
determined to be a fair and. reasonable proposal and. is hereby accepted..
3. A proposed purchase agreement providing for the purchase of such property
afi such proposed. purchase price is hereby given Clerks File No. 9822
and. ordered to be placed on file. The Mayor and. City Manager are hereby
authorized .and. directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the city
and. the Mayor, City .Manager; Finance Director and City Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to take such other and. further action as
may be necessary to complete the purchase of such property in accordance
with the provisions of such agreement.
4, The sums necessary to complete such purchase shall be paid out of the
Special Revenue Fund, pursuant to Transitory Ordinance No. 16.45.
It is hereby determined that acquisition of real property provided for in this
resolution has no relationship to the comprehensive municipal plan.
