RESOLUTION N0. 5895
RESOLUTION REGARDING COUNTY SUPPORT
FOR HUMAN SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, this City Council is in full support of the activities
and leadership provided by the South Hennepin. Human Services Council;
and
WHEREAS, this City Council feels that these activities have had
a positive impact on the development and delivery of human services in
our community; and
WHEREAS, this activity has been delegated to Hennepin County by
state legislation and has been responsibly and effectively carried out
through community boards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Richfield as follows:
1. This council recommends that a strong human services board
be maintained;
2. That the most appropriate funding mechanism is through
Hennepin County;
3. That this Council urges the County Board to continue funding
as they have in the past.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
