RESOLUTION ACCEPTING. BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO HENRY 0. MIKKELSON FOR
CONSTRUCTION .FOR THE CHRISTIAN PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT N0. 719
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of .Henry 0. Mikkelson is the.
lowest bid, including base bid and selected alternates to provide for one.
open shelter, aluminum windows in the main shelter, .and. skate tide in the main
shelter, by a responsible bidder meeting speclfi'cations for building construction
at Christian Park.
That the bid. of Henry 0. Mikkelson, at the price contained in their proposal-
of April 5, 1978, with an estimated construction cost of $93,600 is hereby
accepted..
3. That the proposed contract between Henry 0. Mikkelson and the City of
Richfield is hereby approved and adopted and the-Mayor and Manager are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said contract for or on behalf of the City
of Richfield and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to affix
the city seal thereto.
4. That. payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Project Fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed
contract.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, this 10th day
of April, 1978.
