RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO FISCHER CONSTRUCTION, INC.,
FOR SITE CONSTRUCTION FOR. THE CHRISTIAN PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT N0. 7T9
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,-as
follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Fischer Construction, Inc.,
is the lowest bid, including base bid and the selected alternate to provide
maintenance curbing to the hockey rink, by a responsible bidder meeting
specifications for site construction at Christian Park.
2. That the bid of Fischer Construction, Inc., at the price contained in
their proposal of April 5,.1978, with. an estimated construction cost of
.$209,200 is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between Fischer Construction, Inc., and the
City of Richfield is hereby .approved and adopted and the Mayor and Manager
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for or on behalf
of the City of Richfield and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
affix the city seal thereto.
That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Project Fund..
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price.
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed
contract.
