RESOLUTION NO. 6076
RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING :THE BEGINNING OF NEGOTIATIONS FOR
THE NECESSARY EASEMENTS
LYNDALE AVENUE FEDERAL AID URBAN PROJECT
(Between Lakeshore Drive and West 64th Street)
WHEREAS, preliminary plans for improving and widening Lyndale
Avenue from West 64th Street to Lakeshore Drive were approved by the
...city council of the City of Richfield with the approval of the
Preliminary Plans for the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Project Improvement
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the city council and .the city staff have completed
the necessary preliminary project development report,. location
design study, and public hearing necessary to apply for Federal
Aid Urban funds as administered by the Minnesota State Department
of Transportation; and
VaHEREAS, in December of 1978, the Federal Highway Administration
approved the Location and-Design Study, which identified the scope
of the project, major design objectives, and construction limits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Richfield that the final design and property acquisition plans
necessary to make the Lyndale Avenue Federal Aid Urban Improvement
from West 64th Street to Lakeshore Drive are hereby approved by
the City Council of the City of Richfield.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 9th day
