RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS ..AND AWARDING CONTRACTS
FOR .CONSTRUCTION FOR THE. RICHFIELD MUNICIPAL GOLF ~
COURSE PROJECT"

BE IT RESOLVED by the. City. Council`.. of the City of Richfield.,
Minnesota,: as follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bids of Bolander
and Sons, Bituminous Roadways, Evergreen Lawn, Lee
• ~ Richert Piuinbing and Heating, Elmac Landscaping, OMP
Contractors, Viking Fence and-Bud Johnson are the
. lowest bids, including base bids and selected alter-
nates, by responsible bidders meeting-specifications.
2. That the bid of Bolander and Sons, at the price contained
in their proposal of February 15, 1979, with an estimated
cost of $378,030.10, for earthwoxh is hereby.. accepted.
3.. That the bid of Bituminous Roadways., at the price con-
tamed in their proposal of February 15, 1979, with
an estimated construction cost of $60,205.40 for pave
ment and concrete is hereby .accepted.
4. That the bid of Evergreen Lawn, at the price contained
in their proposal of February 15, 1979, with an estim-
ated construction cost of X134,712 for irrigation is
hereby accepted.
5. ..That the bid of Lee Richert Plumbing and Heating, at the
price contained in their proposal of February 15, 1979
with an estimated construction cost of $109,435.20 for
water wells and pump equipment. is hereby accepted.
6, That the bid of Elmac Landscaping, at the price contained
in their proposal of February 15, 1979, with an estimated
construction cost of $7/,376.64 for seed, sod and plant
materials is hereby accepted..
7, That the bid: of OMP Contractors, at the price contained
in their proposal of February 15, 1979 with an estimated
construction cost of $:28, 766.50 for utilities is hereby
accepted.
g. That. the bid of Viking Fence, at the price contained in
their proposal of February 15, 1979, with an estimated.
construction cost of $21,022.50 for fencing is hereby
accepted.
g. That the bid of Bud Johnson, in the price contained in
their proposal of February 15, 1979, with an estimated
construction cost of $305,700 :..for buildings. is hereby
accepted.

10. That the proposed contracts between the above named
companies and the City of Richfield are hereby approved.
and adopted andthe Mayor and Acting City Manager
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contracts for or on behalf of the City. of Richfield
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to affix
.the city seal thereto.
11. That payments to be made under the terms of said contracts
shall. be charged. against the proper fund..
12. That the Corporate Surety Bonds in the sum of the
estimated contract. prices which accompany said proposed
contracts are. hereby accepted and approved.
13. That the. City Clerk is authorized .and directed to return
the security documents to the unsuccessful bidders. upon
execution of said proposed contracts.
Passed by the City Council of the City o Richfield, this
