DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION b?ATERIALS
~ AND AUTHORIZING THEIR SUBI7ITTAL TO HENNEPIN COliNTY
jVHEREAS, the City of Richfield has executed a Cooperation
Agreement with Hennepin County agreeing to participate in the Urban
County Community Development Block Grant Program, and
tiVHEREAS, a three year Community Development Program and Housing
Assistance Plan has been prepared consistent with the Comprehensive
Urban Hennepin County Community Development strategy: and the Community
Development Program Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the three ,year Community Development Program and
Housing Assistance Plan has been subject to citizen review pursuant
to the Urban Hennepin County Citizen Participation Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Housing Assistance Plan has been reviewed and a
recommendation has been received from the Richfield HRA's Ad Hoc
Housing Committee...
NOjV, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Richfield approved the proposed three year Community Devel-
opment Plan and Housing Assistance Plan and authorizes the Acting
City Manager to submit both plans to Hennepin County for considera-
tion as part of the Year V Urban Hennepin County Community Develop-
merit Block~Gra;nt Application.
