RESOLUTION SUPPORTING .SPECIAL LEGI5LATION
CONCERNING..A GROSS. REVENUE BOND ISSUE FOR
GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the citizens of Richfield indicated a strong
support for development of a municipal golf course in a 1976
community ..survey,. and
WHEREAS, provision was subsequently_-made in the city's
Capital Improvement Program for construction of such a facility
and a golf course advisory committee was established, and
WHEREAS, the city council has-approved final plans and
specificationsfor golf course construction ,in 1979, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of .thee city. council. to issue
a gross revenue bond.. to provide partial financing for this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council of-the
City of Richfield hereby requests enactment of special legislation
.which would provide support for a gross revenue bond issue with
net liquor store revenues and a special mill levy in the event.
