SEG•TLR SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES

1. Fursuant to the provisions of Section 8.12 of the Ordinance
Code of the City of Richfield, the rates and charges for use and.
service of_ the sanitary secaer system are hereby established to be
those set fortis in the follo~~~ing paragraphs of.. this resolution.
2. Where the rate is not based upon the r,:etered use of water,
the following quarterly flat charges are established effective with
tine winter quarter of each year for each billing district as defined
in paragraph 3 of this resolution.

C) Institutional
For each public or private scizool the quarterly flat charge shall
be charged whether the school is in sess ion or n ot (rates being
charged upon average yearly use); shall be based upon the number
of_ students enrolled at the beginning of the qua rterly billing
period or the preceding period i.f_ school is not then in session;
and shall be as follows:

D) In addition to the abov` flat rates there shall be a customer
charge on each invoice as determined in paragraph 4 of this
resolution and a certification charc_re as d.eter_mined in Section
8.12 of the City Ordinance Code.

metered use of_ water on the premises, such rates shall be as folloc-:s:

If_ the invoice is for water service as well as sanitary sewer
service, the customer charge, when collected, shall be allocated
equally between tie city's water fund and its sewer fund.
D) Where the metered use of water on the premises for the preceding
winter quarter was no-t normal, the rate may be adjusted as
provided in Subdivision 3', of said Section 8.12.-
4. The foregoing rates grid charges are in addition to, and not
in lieu of, other rates and cl'iarges established by ordinance or
resolution.
