KESOLUTION NO. 6291
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISION OF 1980
BUDGET OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS
Resolution No. 6290 appropriated funds for personal
services, other expenses and capital outlays for
each department of the City for the year 1980; and
Resolutions Nos. 6190:, 6194, 6204, 6210, 6206,-6218,
6213, and 6247 made appropriations from the 1980 Con-
tingency Account to various departments; and
WHEREAS, The City Charter, Chapter 7, Section 7.09, gives the
Council authority to transfer unemcumbered appropria-
tion balances from one office, department, or agency
to another within the same fund at the request of the.
City Manager;. and
WHEREAS, The City Manager has requested a revision of the 1980
budget appropriations in accordance with Charter pro-
visions and as detailed in the proposed 1981 budget
document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Richfield, MInnesota as follows:
Section 1:
That the 1980 appropriations for each department
of the General Fund be amended to establish the
following totals:
GENERAL FUND
Legislative Executive $ 264,020
Administrative Services 493,490
Community Development 322,086
Public Safety 2,920,295
Community Services 2,261,384
Total General Fund $6,261,275
THE TOTAL DECREASE IS $ 172,235
Section 2:
Estimated 1980 gross revenue of the City of
Richfield from all sources, as the same are more
fully detailed in the City Manager's official
copy of the proposed 1981 budget document, are
hereby revised as follows:
GENERAL FUND $ 112.,316 Increase

Section 3: That the City :Manager and the Finance Director
bring. into effect the provision of this
resolution.
