- RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND
ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Northwestern Bell Telephone Company
224 South 5th Street, Mpls., MN
Location: 320 West 66th Street
Use: Communications
WHEREAS, Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, 224 South 5th
Street, had an off-street parking agreement with the City of
Richfield relating to 320 West 66th Street, which contract bears
the designation of Contract No. 2099, and which contract was
guaranteed by a bond of the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company
in the amount of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000), and
WHEREAS, said Northwestern Bell Telephone Company has sub-
stantially complied with the provisions of said agreement and now
seeks to be relieved of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring.
said Northwestern Bell Telephone Company to continue to provide a
bond for security on the performance of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
That the city manager is hereby authorized and directed to
release Shakey's Pizza for any and all acts committed or incurred
in violation of said Contract No. 2099, on and after the 11th day
of August, 1980.
Adopted by the city council of the City of Richfield this 11th
day of August, 1980.
