RESOLUTION NO. 6257
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 1980
COMPENSATION FOR CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City has a Letter of Understanding with Karl
Nollenberger, City Manager, dated May 14, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield desires to
establish certain 1980 compensation provisions for the city manager
effective July 1, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Letter of Understanding
between Karl Nollenberger and the City of Richfield is amended as
follows:
Section 2. SALARY. Is amended to read "The City of xichfield
agrees to pay Nollenberger an annual salary at the'rate of $43,000
per year for the year starting July 1 ,1980, and thereafter at such
rate as may from time to time be fixed by-the City Council. It is
understood that Nollenberger's salary will be reviewed annually and
he will be given a performance appraisal prior to his annual reviews."
Section 3. CITY PLANS. Subparagraph a. CAR ALLOWANCE is
amended to read "Nollenberger will be paid a car allowance of two
hundred twenty-five ($225) dollars per month to compensate him for
all city driving on City business within the seven (?) county area.
Nollenberger-will be further compensated for all city driving on
City business outside the seven (7) county area at the rate of
twenty-two (.22) cents per mile (this rate shall be subject to change
from time to time due to economic changes and will be handled. by
Resolution) in addition to the two-hundred twenty-five ($225) dollars
per month car allowance.
Section 3.CITY PLANS.. Subparagraph e. INSURANCE third
paragraph is amended to read "The City agrees to pay his Long Term
Disability premium of thirty-seven dollars and fifty-three cents
($37.53) per month directly payable to his insurance company."
