RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND. AWARDING CONTRACT TO
ARCON CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. OF NlORA, MINNESOTA FOR
ALLEY PAVING - C.P. 734
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improve-
ment of the following alleys:

Bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Arcon Construction of Mora, Minnesota
is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Arcon Construction, Inc. for construction
of the above mentioned project with estimated construction cost of
$167,499.00 is hereby ..accepted;
2. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Arcon Construction of Mora, Minnesota
in the name of the City of Richfield for such improvement accord-
ing to plans and specifications therefore approved by the city
council;
3. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the city council this 13th day of July, 1981.
