RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 1981
COMPENSATION FOR CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, .the City has a Letter of Understanding with Karl
Nollenberger, City Manager, dated May 14, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richf field desires
to establish certain 1981 compensation provisions for the city
manager effective April 1, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Letter of Under-
standing between Karl Nollenberger and the City of Richfield. is
amended as follows:
Section 2. SALARY. Is amended to read "The City of Rich-
field agrees to pay Nollenberger an annual salary at the rate of
$47,252.60 per year for the year starting April 1,.1.981, and .there-
af ter at such rate as may from time to time be fixed by the City
Council."
_ Section 3. CITY PLANS. Subparagraph e. INSURANCE. Is
amended to read "The City will pay the full cost of the hospital
and medical insurance and dental health insurance for Nollenberger
ahd his family. He-shall have the choice of the Plans-now in
existence with the City."
The City will provide him group life insurance coverage equal to
two times his annual salary at no expense to Nollenberger. The
City will allow Nollenberger to continue his present group life
plan and will contribute premiums to his company for insurance
coverage up to twice his annual salary.
The City agrees to pay the full cost of his Long. Term Disability
premium directly payable to his insurance company.
