RESOLUTION-ORDERING
UNDERTAKING OF CURRENT
SERVICE.-,PROJECTS
...WHEREAS,. pursuant: to ordinance the City Council of the
Cityof~Richfeld did. on December 22, 1980, establish a special
assessment district and did propose that ceztain current services
be undertaken by the Gity`and that`the'cost o~ such. services be
special y assessed against benefited px~operty,~and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City"of Richfield did also.
by such resolution set the date for public hearing on the under-
taking of such current service projects and the levying of special
assessments to bear the costs thereof; and -
WHEREAS, following due notice, such .public. hearing was held
- on January 12, 1981, at which. time .all interested parties desrin~
to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard.
NO~V THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following current services of the City
shall be undertaken by the City within the Lxndale-Hub-
Nicollet Development Project Area which area shall consti-
tute the special assessment district, with the cost of
such services to be specially assessed against benefited
property within the District:
Snow, ice or rubbish removal from sidewalks;
Weed elimination from streets and private property;
Removal and elimination of public health and safety hazards
from private property, excluding any structure included
under the. provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Sections 4.63.15
to 463.26;
Installation and repair of water service lines;
Street sprinkling and other dust treatment of streets;
Tree trimming and care of trees and the removal of unsound
trees from any street;
The treatment and removal of insect infested or diseased
trees on private property;
The repair of sidewalks and alleys;
"" The operation of street lighting systems;

Snow removal and other Maintenance of stxeets in the

2. The work to be, performed may be by day laboz,
by city force, by contract,.: or by any combination thereof..
3. The designated!, period of the project shall }ae
from January 1, 1981 through June 30, 1881. Costs of the
project. shall be collected in the. manner provided in
Richfield Ordinance Coder Sections: 12.29", 12.3.0., and 12.31.
