RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO
ALEXANDER CONSTRUCTION, INC, OF'APPLE VALLEY, MN.
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS - C.P. 757
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Street and Appurtenant
Work for Lyndale Avenue between Lake Shore- Drive and 74th Street, bids were
received, open and tabulated according. to law; and

WHEREAS, it appears that Alexander Construction, Inc. of Apple. Valley,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield,.
Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Alexander Construction, Inc. for construction of
the above mentioned project with estimated construction cost of $526,464.50
is hereby accepted;
2. That the mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Alexander Construction, Inc., of Apple Valley,
Minnesota in the name of the City of Richfield for such improvement according...
to plans .and specifications therefore approved by the city council;
3. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that .the deposits of
the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 14th day of
December, 1981.
