RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO
{ BATZLIE ELECTRIC CO., MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA FOR

? WHEREAS., pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement. of
_ Street Lighting and Traffic Signals for Lyndale Avenue between Lake Shore Drive
- and 74th Street:
Bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS,.. it appears that Batzli Electric Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota
is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield,

Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Batzli Electric Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota for
construction of the .above mentioned project with estimated construction cost of
$127,158.00 is hereby accepted;
2. That the mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
s into a contract with Batzlie Electric Company. of Minneapolis, Minnesota,. in
;'; the name of the City of Richfield for such improvement according to plans and
specifications therefore approved by the city council;

3. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders .the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of
the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
