RESOLUTION N0. 6501
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISION OF 198 1
BUDGET OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6290 appropriated funds for personal services,
other expenses and capital outlays for each department of the
City for the year 1981;, and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos. 6328, 6363, 6381, 6405, and 6414 made appro.-
priations from the 1981 Contingency Account to various departments;
and
WHEREAS, The City Charter, Chapter 7, Section 7.09, gives the Council
authority to transfer unencumbered appropriation balances- from
one office, department, or agency to another within the same
fund at the request of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, The City Manager has requested a revision of the 1981 budget
appropriations in accordance with Charter provisions and as
detailed in the proposed 1982 budget document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota. as follows:
Section l: That the 1981 appropriations for each department of the
General Fund be amended to establish the following totals:
GENERAL FUND
Legislative
Executive
Administrative Services
Community Development
Public Safety
Community Services
Total General Fund

Section 2: Estimated 1981 gross revenue of the City of Richfield from
all. sources, as the same are more fully detailed in the City
Manager's official copy of the proposed 1982 budget document,
are hereby revised as follows:

Section 3: That the City Manager and the Finance Director bring into effect
the provisions of this esolution.
