RESOLUTION ORDERING. THE PREPARATION OF A
PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR 1982
SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets by
installation of sidewalks:
Lyndale Avenue (both sides) 62nd Street to 64th Street;
Portland Avenue (west side) 77th to I-494;
Nicollet Avenue (both sides) 77th Street to I-494;
76th Street (south side) Lyndale Avenue to Knox Avenue,
Sheridan Avenue to Xerxes Avenue;
65th Street (north side) Xerxes Avenue to Penn Avenue;
69th Street (north side) Xerxes Avenue to Humboldt Avenue;
Diagonal Blvd. (north side) Cedar Avenue to 12th Avenue;
73rd Street (north side) 12th Avenue to Portland Avenue;
Lake Shore Drive (west side) 66th Street to Lyndale Avenue;
12th Avenue (west side) 76th Street to 78th Street;
Cedar Avenue (west side), 77th Street to 78th Street;
Second Avenue (east side) 77th Street to I-494 Overpass;
Xerxes Avenue, 62nd Street to 65th Street;
77th Street, Chicago Avenue to Elliot Avenue and 12th Avenue
to 13th Avenue.
75th Street (north side) Penn Avenue to Logan Avenue;
Lake Shore Drive (north side) from 66th Street to Lyndale Avenue;
65th Street from Lyndale Avenue to Pillsbury Avenue.
And to assess the benefited property for a portion of the cost
of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Richfield,
Minnesota, that the proposed improvement be referred to the City
Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the
council with all convenient speed advising the council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible
and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection
with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
