RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1983
AND LEVYING TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield as follows:
Section 1: The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1983 is hereby
approved and adopted with appropriations for each of the departments to be
as follows:
GENERAL FUND

TOTAL GENERAL FUND $8,025,070
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 189,000
Section 2: The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield from all
sources, including general ad valorem tax levies as hereinafter set forth
for the year I98~, including prior years' levies budgeted for 1983, as the
same are more fully detailed in the City Manager's official copy of the
budget, are hereby found and determined to be as follows:

Section 3: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1982, payable in 1983, for the
following purposes and in the following amounts:

*Provision has been made in the General Fund for
the payment of the City`s contributory share to
Public Employees Retirement Association and the
Police and Firemen's Relief Associations. Provision
has also been made in the General Fund revenues for
receipt of the local government aid distribution.
The above Qeneral levy includes a debt service levy
in the amount of $100,000 for Bonds of 1972..
