RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR C.P. 761 - STREET LIGHTING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the city engineer has prepared the proposed
assessment roll for the cost of installation of the following
street lights:
Penn Avenue South from C.S.A.H. 62 to I-494;
Nicollet Avenue South from C.S.A.H. 62 to 64th Street, and
from 67th Street to I-494.;
Portland Avenue South from C.S.A.H. 62 to I-494
Miscellaneous
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of .March, 1982, in the
council .chambers of city hall at 7:00 P.M. to pass upon. such
proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons
owning property affected by such improvement will be given an
opportunity to be heard in reference to such assessment.
2. The city clerk is-hereby directed to cause notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in
the official newspaper at least two weeks. prior to the
hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of
the improvement.. The city clerk shall also cause mailed notice
to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the
.assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings.
