RESOLUTION AMENDING THE LETTER OF
UNDERSTA~'VDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
RICHFIELD AND KARL NOLLENBERGER,
CITY MANAGER
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows:
The following sections of the Letter of Understanding be-
tween the City of Richfield, Minnesota and Karl Nollenberger,
dated May 14, 1979, as amended are amended as follows:
2. SALARY. The City of Richfield agrees to pay Nollenberger
an annual sa:iary at the rate of $51,104.04 per year for the year
starting January 1, 1983, and thereafter at such rate as may from
time tv time be fixed by the City Council.
3. CITY PLANS. Subparagraph b. VACATIONS. The city agrees
to grant eighteen (18) days vacation as of January 1, 1983, and
each January 1 thereafter unless the two parties agree to an
increase at a later date. '
6. CIVIC CLUB MEMBERSHIP. The City recognizes the desira-
bility of participation in and before local civic, business and
other organizations. Nollenberger is authorized to become a mem-
ber of such organizations as deemed appropriate at the expense of
the City. of Richf field for these activities.
8. RETIREMENT, ICMA PLAN. The City agrees to continue the
agreement provided by the ICMA Retirement Plan and the City of
Richfield. The City will contribute 11.0 percent of salary to
the ICMA Plan in addition to any contributions to the Plan which
Nollenberger requests to be deducted from his salary.
