RESOLUTION N0. 6699
RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
AND MASTER LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF RICHFIELD
AND INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS
LOCAL 49 AFL/CIO FOR THE YEARS 1983/84
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Metropolitan Area Management Association
have reached an agreement with the International Union of Operating Engineers
Local 49 for the years 1983/84; and
WHEREAS, this agreement establishes the 1983/84 contract provisions and
provides for new contract provisions for 1984; and
WHEREAS, the personnel ordinance requires that contracts between the City
and the exclusive representative of employees in an appropriate bargaining unit
shall be implemented by council resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve
the Memorandum of Understanding and Master Labor Agreement between the City of
Richfield and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 for the
years 1983/84.
BE IT FURTHER .RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute the agreements on behalf of the City of Richfield.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 13th day of
