RESOLUTION N0. 6852
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING
CONTRACT TO D. H. BLATTNER AND SONS
FOR MUCK EXCAVATION AND GRANULAR FILL
RICHFIELD LAKE, CP 7055
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for muck
excavation and granular fill at Richfield Lake, CP.7055, bids
were received and tabulated according to law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that D. H. Blattner and Sons, Avon,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. That the total base bid of D. H. Blattner and Sons for
construction of the above mentioned project with estimated con-
struction cost of $127,960 is hereby accepted.
2. That the Mayor, City Manager, and City Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for CP
70S5 with D. H. Blattner and Sons in the name of the City of
Richfield for such improvement according to plans and specifi-
cations therefore approved by the City Council.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their
bids upon proper execution of the contract documents between the
City of Richfield and D. H. Blattner and Sons.
