RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1984 CAPITAL II•~ROVEI~~dT BULGEI'
G~IFiEREA.S, a proposed capital improvement buaget for 1984 I~as been
prepared and submitted for review by the city council in accordance with
charter requirements, and
F•~~' n the city council has received the reca;;rendations and benefit
of review of t:~ese proposed documents by the planning cc~ mission ,nd has
itself reviewed these proposals.
P10W, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVID 'i.hat the 1584 capital improvement
budget in the sum total of $1,354,0 is hereby approved and adopyizd with
full recognition of tI^~e fact that the cost estimates are approximate and
are su'oject to final cost estimates and that all awards of contracts for these
projects are subject to necessary hearings and must be approved by the city
council in accordance with established laws and practices governing such
action, and.
BE IT FURTh~ER RESOLVID 1~hat the city m2rager is hereby authorized and
directed to initiate the procedures which will lead to more formal and detailed
consideration of these projects in accordance with the aforementioned laws and
practices.
