83-6806R31 RESOLUTION- N0. 6806 - A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "RICHFIELD HEALTH PROMOTION DAY" ON OCTOBER 15, 1983 WHEREAS, the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Richfield is an official advisory body to the Richf field City Council, and WHEREAS, the_City Council is the official Local Board of Health, and WHEREAS, the Advisory Board of Health and the Richfield City Council would like to promote good health and wellness for all residents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield that October 15, 1983 be established as "Health Promotion Day" in the. City of Richfield.. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council endorses !. this promotion and does encourage all residents to partici- pate in the activities planned for "HEALTH PROMOTION DAY" on October 15, 1983. Bergh ity erk 32 RESOLUTION N0. 6806 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1984 AND LEVYING TAXES " BE IT RESOLVID by the City Council of the City of Richfield as follows: Section 1: The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1984 is hereby approved and adopted with appropriations for each of the departments to be as follows: GENERAL FUND Legislative $ 183,400 Executive - 335,680 Administrative Services 709,100 Community Development 329,780 Public Safety 4,049,260 Community Services 3,101,640 'IC~TAL GENERAL FUND $8.708.860 REVE~NE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 150,000 Section 2. The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield from all sources, including general ad valorem tax .levies as hereinafter set forth for the year 1884, including prior years' levies budgeted for 1984, as the same are more fully detailed in the City Manager's official copy of the budget, are hereby found and determined to be as follows: GENERAL FUND. ~ $8,678,860 REVF~ttJE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 166,900 Section 3: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1983, payable in 1984, for the following purposes and in the following amounts: PURPOSE AMOUNT GENERAL FUNDS $4,367,997 Provision has been made in the General Fund for the payment of the City's contributory share to Public Employees' Retirement Association and the Police and Firemen's Relief Associations. Provision has also been made in the General Fund revenues for receipt of the local government aid distribution. The above general levy includes a debt service levy in the amount of 250,000 for Bonds of 19 5, 1972, 1973 and 1983, See separate resolutions on other bond issues. Resolution No. 6806 Section 4: A certified copy of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor.
