RESOLUTION No . 6802
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND CURB AND GUTTER REPAIR
Bid No. 83-7
CONCRETE CURB CO. OF BUR,NSVILLE
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of approximately 1,100 square feet of concrete sidewalk
and approximately 1,000 lineal feet of curb and gutter and appur-
tenant work at various locations, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law;
AND WHEREAS it appears that Concrete Curb Compnay of
Burnsville, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Concrete Curb Company of Burnsville,
Minnesota, for construction of above mentioned project
with estimated construction cost of $21,495.00 is hereby
accepted;
2. That the mayor and clerk are hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with Concrete Curb Company of Burnsville,
Minnesota, in the name of the City of Richfield for such
improvement according to the plans and specifications;
3. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their
bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.

12th day of September, 1983.
