RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSb~ENT ON .CITY PROJECT
771, ALLEY MAI~JTENANCE FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 1,
1 9 8 2 THROUGH t~1ARCH 31 , 1 9 8 3.
6dHEREAS, pursuant to proper r~oti.ce duly given as required
by law, the council has met and passed upon all objections to
the proposed assessment for current services related to mainten-
ance of alleys in the City of Richfield;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Such proposed assessment roll, a copy of which is
attached hereto and a part hereof, is hereby accepted
and shall constitute the special assessment against
the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein
included is hereby found to be benefitted by the
proposed current services in the amount of the assess-
ment levied against it: $24,967.05.
2. Such assessment shall be payable before or during 1984
and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent
from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution.
~h 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time
prior to certification of the assessment to the county
auditor, pay whole of the assessment on such property to
the city treasurer and he may, at any time thereafter,
pay to the city treasurer the entire amount of the
assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to
December 31 of the year in which payment is made. Such
payment must be made before November 15 or interest will
be charged through December 3i of the succeeding year.
4. The city clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified
duplicate of this assessment roll to the county auditor
to be extended on the proper tax lists cf the county,
and such assessments shall be collected and paid over
in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
