RESOLUTION N0. 6955
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1985 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
WfIEREAS, a proposed capital improvement budget for 1985 has been
prepared and submitted for review by the city council in accordance with
charter requirements, and
WHEREAS, the city-council has received the recommendations and benefit
of review of these proposed documents by the planning commission and has
itself reviewed these proposals.
NOW, THEREFbRE, BE IT RESOLVID that the 1985 capital improvement
budget in the sum total of $2,145,700 is hereby approved and adopted with
full recognition of the fact that the cost estimates are approximate and'
are subject to final cost estimates and that all awards of contracts for these
projects are subject to necessary hearings and must be approved by the city
council in accordance with established laws and practices governing such
action, and
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVID that the city manager is hereby authorized and
directed to initiate the procedures which will lead to more formal and detailed
consideration of these projects in accordance with the aforementioned laws and
practices.
Passed by the city council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, this
27th day of September, 1984.
