RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1985
AND LEVYING TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City-Council of the City of Richfield as follows:
Section 1: The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1985 is hereby
approved and adopted with appropriations for each of the departments to be as
follows:
GENERAL, FUND

Administrative Services 781,420
Community Development 397,090
Public Safety 4,393,980
Community Services 3,"217,860
TOTAL GENERAL FUND $9,232,740
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 162,000
Section 2. The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield from all
sources, including general ad valorem tax levies as hereinafter set forth for
the year 1985, including prior years' levies budgeted for 1985, as the same
are more fully detailed in the City Manager's official copy of the budget, are
hereby found and determined to be as follows:
GENERAL FUND $9,232,740
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 170,000
Section 3: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1984, payable in 1985, for the
following purposes and in the following amounts:
PURPOSE AMOUNT
GENERAL FUND* $4,547,438
*Provision has been made in the General Fund for the payment of
the City's contributory share to Public Employees' Retirement
Association and the Police and Firemen's Relief Associations.
Provision has also been made in the General Fund revenues for
receipt of the local government aid distribution. The above
general levy includes a debt service levy in the amount of
$200,000 for Bonds of 19 5, 1977, and 1983. See separate
resolutions on other bond issues.

Section 4: A certified copy of this resolution shall be transmitted to
the County Auditor.
