ScRVICE CHARLES TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO BE COLI:ECTED
WITH OTHER TAXES OV SAID PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, Ordir_ar.ce Code 8.23 establishes rules, rates ar_d
charges for water service ir. the City of Richfield, and
WHEREAS, Mirr.esota Statutes .4.075, subd. 3, provides that
all delinquent Ovater service charges not paid may be certifiedi
t0 the County Auditor With the taxes against such property, and
shall be collected with other taxes or. such property, and
WHEREAS, Ordi+^.ance Code 8.12 ~stab?ishes rules, rates ar.d
charges for sanitary sewer service in the City of Richfield, ar.d
1r1HEREAS, Subd. 12 thereof provides that all sewer service
charges not paid within fifteer. (15~ days after the quarterly
due date may be certified to the Cour_ty Auditor with taxes.
against such property, ar.d shall be collected with other taxes
or_ such property, and
WHEREAS, an assessment roll has beer. prepared specifyir_g
the amount which shall be certified against each particular
property.
NOW, T'dERErORE, BE IT RESOL'JED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Kinr.esota, that:
1. There is hereby determir_ed to be a total uncollected
amount for water ar.d sanitary sewer service of
$58,2.70: Z5 and ------
2. That a x20.00 Certification charge shall be levied
against each deiir.quer.t account; such charges
totalling $1090.00 ; 3rd
3. That such amount is hereby certified to the County
Auditor for collectior_ with other taxes or. said
properties; and,
4. That a coQy of this Resolution s,".all be se^t to~ the
Henr.epi:: County Auditor.
