RESOLUTION N0. 6924
RESOLUTION REGARDING CDBG JOINT COOPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield, Minnesota and the County of
Hennepin have in effect a-Joint Cooperation Agreement, County
Contract No. 10401, for the purposes of qualifying as an Urban
County under the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development Community Development Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County wish to terminate the
Agreement and execute a new Joint Cooperatin Agreement, County
Contract No. 4044$, to reconstitute the Urban County for
purposes of the Community Development Block Grant program.
NOW, THEREFORE B£ IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Richfield that the current Joint Cooperation Agreement
between the City and the County, County Contract No. 10401, be
terminated effective September 30, 1984, and a new joint
Cooperation Agreement between the City and the County, County
Contract No. 40448, be executed effective October 1, 1984, and
that the Mayor and the City Manager be authorized to sign the
Agreement on behalf of the City.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and upon a
vote being duly taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof : Bunce, Kirsch, Ludeman, Priebe, Hamilton
and,
the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND- ADOPTED
