A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEi~Ei~(T
FOR USE OF PERSO~lNEL AND EQUIPi~lEP1T -
REGIONAL MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield is the
official governing body cf the City cf Richfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield has
approved the concept cf a Mutual Aid Association; and
TnIHEREAS, a mutual need exists between members of the
Regional Mutual Aid Association to share and assist one another
in the areas of emergency and disaster control; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield considers it to be in the
best interests cf the City to enter into a mutual agreement with
the ether memb-ors of the Regional Mutual Aid Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield that: the City of Richfield desires to become
a member of the Regional Mutual Aid Asseciatien and its Director
of Community Services is its authorized representative, and the
Technical Operations Coordinator its alternative representative;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City of Richfield enter into an
agreement with the Regional Mutual Aid Association and hereby
authorizes its Mayor and City Manager to sign said agreement in
behalf of said City of Richfield; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Richfield is hereby directed tc forward a certified copy of this
resolution, together with executed copy of the agreement to
Charles Henc'nell, President, Regional slutual Aid Asseciatien,
