RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CITY HAiL LOBBY AND LICENSING DIVISION REMODELING

WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the City Hall
Lobby and Licensing Division Furniture and Carpet-ing, Bids were received,
opened and tabulated according to iaw; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Office. Interiors, Inc. of Minneapolis,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder for items B, C, D, and E;
and that General Office Products Company 4f Minneapolis, Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder for item A;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Office Interiors, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota
for items B, C, D, & E at a cost of $20;246.82 and the bid of General
Office Products for item A at a-cost of $14,020.12 are hereby accepted;
2. That the mayor and city manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract for C.P. 798 with Office Interiors, Inc.
and General Office Products of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the
City of Richfield for such improvement according to the plans and
specifications;
3. The -city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return '
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that
the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
