RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LONGFELLOW AVENUE, b-6TH TO b9TH STREET
AND THE OVERLAY OF HIGH1rTAY 77 EAST FRONTAGE ROAD, b9TH STREET
TO 2~tTH AVENUE SOUTH - CITY PROJECT NQ. 803
WHEREAS., a resolution of the City Council adopted the 25th
day of February, 1985, fixed a date for a council hearing on the
proposed. improvement of Longfellow Avenue between 66th Street
and b9th Street by reconstruction, paving, curb and gutter and
driveway aprons from bbtr. Street to 69th Street and by overlay
from 69th Street to 2~tth Avenue South; and
WHEREAS, ter. days mailed notice of the hearing and two
weekly publications of the required notice was given as required
by law, and the hearing was held thereon on the $th day of
April, 1985, at which all persons desiring to be heard were
given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
~. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed ir. the
eounail resolution adopted the 25th day of February, 1985•
Z. Michael Eastling, City Engineer, is hereby designated as
the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
