RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING HEARING
FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LONGFELLOW AVENUE BETWEEN bbTH
AND b9TH STREET AND THE OVERLAY OF THE HIGHWAY 77 EAST
FRONTAGE ROAD, 69TH STREET TO 24TH AVENUE
CITY PROJECT X10. $03
WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by the city engineer
with reference to the improvement of Longfellow Avenue between
56th Street ar.d b9th Street by recor.structior., paving, curb and
gutter ar.d driveway aprons from both Street to .b 9th Street and
by overlay from b9t'n Street to 24th Avenue and t'nis report was
received by the City Council on February 25, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL'JED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such street
in accordance with the report and the assessment of
abutting property for all or a portior. of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter
429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$25b,194.
2. A public hearing shall be held cn such proposed
improvement on the 8th day of April, 1985 in the
council chambers of city hall at 7 p.m. and t'ne clergy
shall give mailed and published r_otice of such 'nearing
and improvement as required by law.
