RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT
ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LONGFELLOW AVENUE, 56TH-69TH STREET
AND THE OVERLAY 0~' HIGHWAY 77 EAST FRONTAGE ROAD, 59TH STREET
TO 24TH AVENUE - CITY PROJECT N0. 803
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Longfellow Avenue betweer.
56th Street and 69th Street by reconstruction, paving, curb and
gutter and drive aprons ar,d to assess t'ne benefited property for
a portior. of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429, and to overlay with bituminous the
Highway ?7 east frontage road, 69th Street to 24th Aver_ue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield , Mirr.esota
That the proposed i:nprovemer_t be referred to the city
engineer For study and that he is instructed to report to the
council with all convenient speed advising the council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or
in connection with some other improvement, ar.d the estimated
cost of the improveme:^.t as recommended .
