RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CITY PROJECT N0. 813, RICHFIELD STATE AGENCY
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to ar. advertisement for bids for the
construction. of a storm sewer outlet from the property i^ the
southeast quadrant of 86th Street and Lyrdale Avenue to
Richfield Lake across public right-of-way and across the
property ir. the northwest quadrant of o6th Street and Lyrdale
Avenue, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Richard Knutson Inc., of
Burnsville, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREr""ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. That the bid of Richard Knutson Inc. of Burnsville,
Minnesota for construction of the above-mentioned project with
estimated construction cost of X133,985.15 is 'nereby accepted;
2. That the mayor and clerk are 'nareby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract for City Project No. 813 with
Richard Knutson Inc, of Burnsville, Minnesota, ir. the name of
the City of Richfield far such improvement accordi:^.g to plans
and specifications therefore approved by the city council;
3. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits ,made with their
bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next. lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
