RESOLUTION .AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH
THE CITY OF FARIBAULT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield:
1. The City of Richfield and the City of ~'aribault
are desirous of entering into a-joint powers agreement
pursuant to Laws 1984, Chapter'S82 for the sharing of
entitlement amounts of industrial development revenue bond
financing. _
2. This Council has reviewed a proposed joint. powers
agreement bet~~een the. Cities for the purpose stated in
Section 1, and finds that the execution of the agreement. is
in~the best financial interest of the City of Richfield.
3. The Mayor and-City Manager are authorized and
directed to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
4. The City Manager is directed to transmit a cer-
tified copy of the resolution to the City Cler?~ of the City
- of Faribault.
