RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FC)R THE YEAR 1986
AND LEVYING TAXES
BE IT RESOD by the City Council of the City of Richfield as follows:
Section 1: The budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1986 is hereby
appro"ved and adopted with approiations for each of the departments
to be as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Legislative $ 132,230
Executive 337,650
Administrative Services 842,820
Community Development 441,070
Public Safety 4,732,500
Community Services 3,479,260
TOTAL GENERAL FUND $9,965,530
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 80,000
Section 2. The estimated gross revenue of the City of Richfield from ali
sources, including general ad valorem tax levies as hereinafter
set forth for the year 1986, which are more fully detailed in the
City Manager's official copy of the budget, are hereby found and
determined to be as follows:
GENERAL FUND $9,844,030
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND $ 62,000
Section 3: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1985, payable in
1986, for the following purposes and in the following amounts:
PURPOSE AMOUNT
GENERAL FUNDS $4,754,450
*Provision has been made in the General Fund for the payment of
the City's contributory share to Public Employees' Retirement
Association and the Police and Firemen's Relief Associations.
Provision has also been made in the General Fund revenues for
receipt of the local government aid distribution. The above
general levy includes a debt service levy in the amount of
$100,000 for Bonds of 1977 and 1983• See separate resolutions
on other bond issues.
Section 4: A certified copy o$ this resolution shall be transmitted to
the county Auditor I,
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, this
8th day of October, 1985.
