R~,SuLUTiON FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT.
FOR CITY PROJECT N0. 803 - LONGFELLOtrI AVENUE IP~IPROVEMENTS
~HER~AS, by resolution passed by the City Council on August
11, 19~?5, the city clerk and city engineer were directed to
prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvement of
Longfellow Avenue, 68th Street to 69th Street by reconstruction,
paving, curb and gutter and driveway aprons;
A'ID, ;•,HEREAS, the city clerk and city engineer have notified
the council that such proposed assessment has been completed and
filed for public inspection.
i10j~J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Pdinnesota:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of September,
1985, in the council chambers of city hall at 7 p.m. 'to pass
upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all
persons owning property affected by such improvement will be
given an opportunity to be heard in reference to such
assessment.
2. The city clerk and city engineer are hereby directed to
cause notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be
published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks

prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total
cost of the i:~arovenent! The city clerk and city engineer shall
also cause :_~ailed notic~ to be given to the owner of each parcel
descriced in the sssess~ent roll not less than two weeks prior
to t::e ^earin~.s.
