FOR CITY PROJECT N0. 812, 1985 ALLEY PAVIPIG
~•7HEREAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of
the following alleys by reconstruction and concrete paving:
Alley between
Augsburg and Garfield Ave.
Russell and Sheridan Ave.
Blaisdell and Nicollet Ave.
Upton and Thomas Ave.
Xerxes and ~•~ashburn Ave.

And the contract price for such improvement is $89,933 and
the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such
improvement amount to $34,919.33 so that the total cost of the
improvement will be $124,852.33.
P30~•l, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid
by the city is hereby declared to be $8,819.17 and the portion
of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is
at least twenty percent (200) of the total cost and is declared
to be S115,933.15.
2. The city clerk and the city engineer shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such
i^:proveWent against every. assessable lot,. piece or parcel of
land •.rit'.:in the district affected, without regard to cash
valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such
prcoosed assessment in his office for public inspection.
3. -The clerk shalllupon the completion of such proposed
assessment notify the council thereof.
